Does your room mate move with you when you buy a double manor?

You need to be alone to buy a double manor (ie no roommate)but after you buy the double manor then you can bring your roommate back with you to enjoy the double manor and he will still keep his,however you can still both of your majors if their are near each other to create a double manor too
