There are currently a total 9 nine certs to choose from in LifeAfter or professions that you want to partake. They all offer something different and any of them would be a good choice, which will entirely depend on your style or gameplay.
Let's take a look at all 9 certs and give some information as to what they are all about. In this page, we will be tackling three of the Resource Gathering-focused professions for players that prefer collecting and managing resources.
LumberjackThis profession is focused mainly on logging and wood resource gathering. You'll have improved logging skills with higher chance to get rare wood resource. You'll also get improved secondary resource drop rates and access to profession-exclusive secondary resources.

| Oak Cedar Leaves | When logging LV5 Wood, get X% chance of obtaining Old Oak. When talent reaches LV4, logging LV6 trees will have a chance of obtaining Cedar Leaves (cert-exclusive secondary resource) |
| Chinese Fir Nanmu | When logging LV6 Wood, the chance of obtaining Redwood is increased by 5%. When talent reaches LV3, there's a chance of obtaining a Nanmu. |
| Pine Saplings | After learning this talent, you can purchase Pine Saplings from Tex Brandon or the Furniture Store. After planting, you can obtain Pinecone (cert-exclusive secondary resource) |
Improves gathering ability of all mineral ores, you'll also get improved secondary resource drop rates and access to profession-exclusive secondary resources.
