At the start of the game you are faced with the daunting task of selecting which Nation you will assume for the duration of the game... It's quite an important decision as you will be stuck with whatever choice you make for the however long you play Rise of Kingdoms.
Each Nation has it's own unique Commander and unique traits and strengths. The decision you make as to which Nation you select will be down to how good you think each of those unique strengths are.
Remember however, that your starter commander choice is not so important as you will pick up all the commanders eventually in the game.
