De-Extinction: Jurassic is an online Multi-Player, real-time strategy game where you become the Leader of a park full of genetically re-bred Dinosaurs. Your goals are to repair and then upgrade the park and train a force of troops and dinosaurs to let you survive and control the island you are on.

If you are starting out in the game then these tips will help you to progress an build your strength.

Follow the Story

When you start playing the game you will be directed through a number of tutorial stages where the game gets you to build the main buildings and capture a few dinosaurs. The story line is not a prizewinner but the process is important and you will gain a lot of understanding of the basic game play. There are a lot functions that will need to be unlocked though the story tasks which you will need to complete.

Alliance

As you progress in the story line you will have the opportunity to join an alliance. You do not need to join one right away (or at all) but it is highly recommended. Without an alliance you will always be vulnerable in the game, and will not be able to take advantage of all the events and rewards that the game offers.

You can change alliance at any time as well and finding the strong alliance where you fit in will gain you protection, rewards and often some good friends. You can also start your own alliance as leader but you will have to wait until you reach level 10 for this.

Nurturing / Research

As well as the building the other development aspect is research which is done though nurturing the dinosaurs that you capture and place back into the facilities. Building will seem like a priority but always make an effort to do the research items. As you progress and the game starts opening more events.

Events & Missions

There are a lot of events in the game and also free rewards that you can claim every day. Make sure to check the Missions list which is found at the bottom of the screen for Daily missions and side missions to complete.

Then also check the Event Center on the top right to see what is happening for you. Some events you can undertake on your own while others will be alliance events that you can help with. All of them will offer good rewards for your progress. This is especially true when you first start playing as there are events for new players which can offer very useful rewards.

The more you can play and earn rewards in this way the faster you will be able to increase your power and get stronger in the game.

Heroes

Heroes will be an important part of your offensive capabilities as you take on the challenges of the island. Make sure to use the free hero Searches that you get in the Hero club building every day and look for any opportunities to earn more search items.
