Tap your governor icon in the top right of the screen and you'll see your Governor Profile, if you tap the pencil to the right of your current governor name you will be able to change it.

You definitely want to change it from the standard Governor398237498 or whatever they randomly give to you in the beginning. Plus you get a small reward for making the initial change!

To to Governor Profile, the tap the pen icon where your current name is.
