If your game is failing to load then either you have some kind of connection issue or something else has gone wrong somewhere. You may need to reinstall the game. If you have your account linked to your facebook profile it should be relatively painless to do.
I uninstalled Rise of Kingdoms on iOS this morning and reinstalled it and everything was fine after that, I did not have to enter my log in details, but that could be because I am also signed into Facebook on that device.
Could be connection errors, but also if the game has recently been updated you may need to reinstall your game if you are sure you have a good connection and have tried everything else.
Today, May 8th 2020 after the latest update I had to reinstall Rise of Kingdoms on my iOS device. It did not take long to do and resolved the problem.
