How to Get More Acquaint Fates and Intertwined Fates

Exchange using Primogems

These are one of the uncommon in-game currencies in Genshin Impact. Both Acquaint Fate and Intertwined Fate cost 160 Primogems each. If you don’t have enough fates when trying to Wish, the game will automatically prompt if you want to use Primogems by default.

Additional primogems can be purchased using real money. Thankfully, free-to-play users can farm these albeit much slower and will require time and effort through in-game/event rewards, completing quests, activating waypoints, opening treasure chests, completing achievements, etc. Farming primogems will be your primary method of getting Fates. Exchanging Fates with Primogems has no limit.

Exchange using Starglitter Exchange

Starglitter is somewhat rare as well since you can only get this whenever you get a duplicate copy of a character. Both Acquaint Fate and Intertwined Fate cost 5 Starglitter each. However, we suggest holding on your Starglitter and save it until you have enough to exchange it for a 4-star character or weapon.

Exchange using Stardust Exchange

You’ll earn Stardust for obtaining copies of the weapon. Acquaint Fate and Intertwined Fate under this exchange normally cost 125 Stardust each but you can buy them at a discounted price (40% less). This is limited to 5 pieces per month so don’t forget stocking these up once you see them available at a discounted price at the store.

Adventure Rank Reward

Don’t forget visiting the Adventurer Guild kiosk whenever you and talk to Kathryne to collect your rank-up rewards. You can get a Fate from one of these rewards though most of these are one-time only.

Login or Event Rewards

This is a somewhat unreliable source (but welcome nonetheless) since you’ll be heavily relying on any freebies or compensation that the developers roll out for updates, fixes, or events. These are normally sent via mail. Take note that like all items sent via email, it has an expiration date of 30 days so don’t forget to claim them before they expire.
