While the game itself is already very newbie friendly, we will provide much needed tips and discuss the game’s various features to get players started and acclimated in the game. Is the Game Pay-to-Win?

While the game is free to download and play, you can of course make In App purchases, however from our experience with the game Black Desert Online is a game this is Free To Play Friendly.

What are the Classes

The game started out give 5 classes, and this number has now grown to 8. These classes have fixed genders (you can’t create a female warrior or male ranger) but you’re free to customize their appearances as you please. The classes in the game currently are: Warrior, Striker, Ranger, Witch, Giant, Dark Knight, Sorceress and Valkyrie. You can find out more about them on our Classes page.

Pets

There are Pets in the game, they are more of a premium item and they give a stat boost to your character. Pets are explained in more detailed on our Pets page.

What is a Node Manager?

A Node Manager is like a separate game mode where you can send Workers to collect various items for you. You can access it on the lower-left corner of the main menu or from the Trading Post in your Camp.

This is a great source of items and income, as well as random, rare gifts that you can give to NPCs. The allocated Workers in your Nodes will be dedicated there; which means they can’t build structures in your camp or send them to resource gathering runs while they’re assigned on the nodes.

What is Shakatu's Gear Shop?

This is the Gacha element of the game where you can draw to get gear in the game. This is unlocked after completing the main quest "Family Quest. You can find out more details about this important part of the game in the page in our guide: Shakatu's Gear Shop.

Can I Play Black Desert Mobile on PC?

Yes you can if you using an Android Emulator. There are many out there to choose from, you can try BlueStacks and BigNox which seem to be the most used right now.
