Shakatu’s Gear Shop

You can access Shakatu's Gear Shop from the main menu. For first-time players, you'll unlock this after completing the main quest "Family Quest : Try to use Shakatu’s Shop".

You can only use Ancient Coins to buy items from him. You can earn Ancient Coins by completing quests, daily tasks, rare mob drops, doing Boss Rush runs, or Ancient Ruins. The latter is the best source of Ancient Coins, especially higher tier ones.

After entering his shop, you must choose a category you want to "draw" a random equipment from. At the bottom of the screen, you can see the color/grade of the equipment your character currently has equipped. When your black spirit level is 40, you can purchase 10 equipment at once.

The equipment you can get from Shakatu’s Gear Shop is random. There will always be times that you won't even get a purple-colored gear, let alone an orange gear. The lowest quality you can get is green. Even if you’re pretty low level, there’s a chance that you can get a higher quality gear. Just take note that Unique Gear above requires you to have at least Black Spirit Awakening 3. Black Spirit Awakening is part of the main story.

Best Ways to Use Shakatu's Gear Shop

As in most Gacha events, it seems to be the bigger the bundle you can buy at the same time, the better chance you have in pulling the good stuff. So whenever you can save up and purchase the bundle instead of buying pulls one by one.
