This is our full guide and walkthrough for Chapter 6 of The Sultan's Inventor, another fantastic Adventure Escape Mystery game from Haiku games.

After visiting the Bazaar in chapter 5 you now know where Mustafa is hiding out. An old abandoned palace.

First though we need to figure out how to cross the lake.

Star: top center, next to the moon.

On the pier to the right is a shovel to collect.

By the broken boat in the center is an oar to collect.

Use the shovel on the half buried chest. View the combination lock.

Hint: there are 7 symbols to set. the symbols look like spires / building tops.

there are 7 spires on the ruined palace (one in the water). Each has a moon symbol above it. Order these by moon phases (the first is a right crescent as it is fixed)

Collect the grappling hook.

Next use the oar to get the sword that is stuck in the tree in the water.

Then use the sword to cut the rope holding the boat o the right. You collect the rope.

Add the grappling hook to the ballista on the pier and then the rope.

This will reel in the boat for you to use. Tap to get in.

Now inside the Abandoned Palace.

You are met by Solomon, who asks you to retrieve his five missing heirloom rings.

Star: in the open window top left.

On the far right is a brass key hanging from a hook. Collect this.

Then also collect the Empty Lamp from the floor next to it.

Use the key to unlock the chest to the left of the stairs. Collect a Mace and a royal emblem.

Use the empty lamp on the tall jar on the left to fill it with oil.

Use the oil filled lamp on the burning torch to light it and then use it to light the second torch on the right. This reveals a picture of mixing light.

From the statue on the left by Solomon collect the mirror shield.

Place the mirror shield in the tiger’s mouth at the top of the stairs on the right.

Now tap to view the pages in the book on the stand on the right. These will be a clue.

Use the mace on the gong to the left. This will scare away some bats covering a stained glass window.

This now shows four shapes on the floor.

Tapping to pull the chain hanging on the left will make the shapes change.

Next you tap the door to the right for view a complicated lock.

Place the royal emblem in the empty slot to begin the puzzle.

Hint: We need to move 4 colored stars to the top slots. 4 emblems to the correct center positions, and then 4 symbols to the lower slots.

The first step is the pages of the book. Read the pages to work out the order that the events occur in. This will give you an order of symbols by date of events. This gives us:

Each of the pages also mentions an item, waves, tree, sword, fire. Place these below the correct symbols.

Finally, for the colors. The emblems are represented in the shapes on the floor and pulling the chain will swap each emblem between 2 colors. Use the color mixing rules from the picture found above to mix these and get a star color.

Red + Red = Red

Blue + Green = Cyan

Red + Blue = Purple

Green + Red = Yellow

Tap to go through the opened door. You find a new puzzle to collect the rings.

Hint: You need to collect the 5 rings without being seeing by any of the hyenas. Each move you make the 2 hyenas will move 1 step along their path. they can see in 4 directions.

Solution: just move carefully and plan ahead.

Give the 5 rings to Solomon. You will get a key (gem)

Use the key on the door at the top of the stairs and go through to the second floor.

Star: above the right arch (top right)

From the table collect a cleaning brush.

Collect the fallen stool on the right of the table.

Tap the cushions on the sofa on the right to move them and collect a scroll that is a royal portrait.

There is a figure behind the curtain on the left. Tap this to move the curtain and then collect the knife from the mannequin.

On top of the tall cupboard on the left is another scroll (royal portrait). Place the stool by the cupboard so that you can collect this.

Now use the knife to cut the curtain covering the center archway at the back, revealing 2 more portraits.

Place the two portraits in the empty slots to begin a puzzle.

Hint: Rearrange the portraits to the correct order.

The longest lifespan is 3rd place, 1339-1442, this is for Solomon the long lived. Selim the last must go last. Relinquishing must occur before reclaiming so set them as below.

This is now a clue.

Now tap to view the lock on the cupboard on the left of the room.

Hint: This has the same symbol above as on the portraits wall.

Check the portraits. Count the number of gems on each picture that match the gem color behind their heads. 6 red, 3 purple, 3 blue, 1 red.

Collect a wiring piece from inside.

Above the sofa on the right are some cobwebs. Use the cleaning brush on these to reveal a puzzle.

Add the wiring piece to start the puzzle.

Hint: connect the wiring on the left to the outlets on the right. The numbers indicate how many nodes each wire must pass through.

A door opens and you can go through.

You find Mustafa dead. Now time to investigate the scene.

First collect the small key from the desk .

Tap to move the glass and tap to collect the vial of poison.

Tap his left had to open it and collect a green pendant.

Tap his right hand to note that he was writing but he is holding it in the wrong hand.

View the note.

Finally tap his face to note that it is pale, visible veins.

Now use the key to unlock the drawer on the left.

View the paper inside for information. The letter incriminates Jamal the Sultans brother.
