This is our full guide and walkthrough for Chapter 8 of The Sultan's Inventor, another fantastic Adventure Escape Mystery game from Haiku games.
In chapter 7 you have discovered the evidence that Princess Amira was responsible for the death of the Sultan and has framed the Grand Vizier. Now you must stop the execution.

Star: on the tower, top right.
There are 3 tiles on the ground to collect, 2 to the left, and 1 on the right.
Some of the people in the crown can be dragged to the side to find a screwdriver (center) and a spy glass (on the right)

Use the spyglass and tap on the building. Move around to see this drawing of man fighting a lion.

Then also look to the right to find these yellow symbols.

These are clues
Now tap to view the statue on the right of the man and the lion.

You can tap the buttons on the statue to change it.
Hint: Copy the same positions on the wall drawing on to the statue. This will then reveal more symbols below.

Next view the statue to the left.

Use the screwdriver to remove the screw in his hand. You can then turn the shield and see the orange symbols. There are 4 in total.

Now tap to view the door on the tower on the right. This has a puzzle lock.

Add the three tiles you have collected
Hint: there are 2 pairs of symbols. the first in each pair is fixed and the second can be changed. Work out from the clues what the second symbol in each pair should look like.
Solutions:
Yellow: Look at the yellow clues, in this case the second symbol is made by folding up the bottom half over the top half.Show
Orange tiles: Check the pairs of orange tiles on the shield. For these the top half is mirrored horizontally and the bottom half is mirrored vertically.Show
White: Look at the white clues to see that in the second symbol the top half is rotate 90 degrees clockwise and the bottom half is 90 degrees anticlockwise.Show

Enter the tower and you will then place some glider wings on the floor to repair.

Star: On the lamp to the left of the door
From the window on the left collect a rod.
Then from the statue on the left collect the sword.
On the wall just to the left of the doorway is a key hanging, collect this.
On the floor on the right is a jar of oil. Collect this.
Use the jar of oil on the wheels of the horse and then move it to the right.

Collect the rod that was behind it.
Use the sword to cut down the small blue flag on the right.
Then go back outside and use the sword on the white and purple tent to cut more fabric.
Go back inside and add the two rods and the flag and fabric to the broken glider.
This is now repaired.
On the left wall is a small panel that is locked. Use the key to unlock this.
Inside is a set of stone tiles with symbols.

Now view the lock on the doors to the right to the elevator.
Hint: Use the clue from the stone tiles to solve it.

Solution: The lock clues give you a starting point on the wall panel (gold symbol) and a translation direction.]Move from the gold symbol to the red to get the required code symbol. E.g. for the first one move up to find a symbol. Show

You now enter the elevator and begin a flight to the arena. This is a puzzle.

Hint: You need to select an image that correctly fills in the missing area of the pattern. Do this 10 times quickly to make it to the arena without crashing. This is a random puzzle.

You now enter the arena

Collect a purple gem from the ground, and then a green gem from the shield on the right.
There are 7 bricks that stand out. 5 red ones on the left and 2 yellow in the center. Press on all of these.
A jail cell door will open. Collect the iron bar.
There is a hole in the wall between the first and second cell gates. Use the iron bar on this hole to open the second cell gate. Collect the key from inside.
Now you can use the key on the third jail cell gate. This reveals a panel with a lock.

Hint: The clue is the purple flags in the arena. We cannot see all of them initially.
Solution: First tap to ring the 2 gongs. (on the left and right) With each ring the tiger and the crowd moves so you can get a look at all the flags. On each side of the area stands there are 9 squares, some with flags and some without. There are also 2 or 3 dots. On the panel you will see the 2 or 3 dots to lt you know how to place the symbols.Show

With the third gate open collect the blue gem and then Tap the lever to trap the tiger in a pit.
It tries to escape so we need to deactivate it with another puzzle.
Tap the tiger to start.

First add the 3 gems to the board
Hint: Drag the black pieces from the sides to the board to direct the gem light trails from the left to match up on the right.
