Psychic Squad - The Italian Affair is an escape puzzle game from Haiku Games, playable through their Adventure Escape Mysteries app.

This is our full walkthrough of Chapter 3 of Psychic Squad - The Italian Affair. A murder mystery game featuring the psychic team of Jacqueline and Khaled. You have found out about the immortal Barnardo from Friar Teodor and need to head to Pompeii, but first you must escape from the monastery.

You are given a clue “When one door closes, another opens.”

Tap to close the trap door over the elevator. You can then collect a lantern.

“Light a new way.”

Place the lantern on the hook on the shelves on the right. Then tap a candle from the seance area to collect is and use it to light the lantern. The shelf moves to reveal a secret door and some puzzle pieces on the floor. Collect these.

View the door for a puzzle. Add the pieces to the board to begin.

Solve it by placing all the pieces to fit over the X and O symbols. The pieces can be rotated.

Solution:

Go through the door and you will escape and return to the office.

Give the scroll to Khaled to explain the story and then you will get a copy of it back.

You now head to Pompeii. You meet a man at the address that Bernardo lived at but he wont let you in.

Give the scroll copy to the man, he will then study it. This gives you time to look around.

Collect the yellow paper from the ground to the right of the table. Cheat Sheet.

Tap the bushes to the right of the door to find some water controls. Collect from here a mosaic chunk.

Now tap the cover on the far left to pull it down. Collect a metal leaf from the ground behind it.

The door has a padlock with a 3 digit combination. On the left of the door is a plaque. View this.

This is a clue for the padlock.

Solution:

Use this on the padlock. You talk to the man 'Lorenzo Guaraldi' then enter the house.

Tap each of the blue covers to remove them.

Star: On the case on the left.

Tap ahead in the center to go back outside. You need to collect a second mosaic chunk that you can now find on the table. Then go back inside.

Collect the cleaning equipment (bucket) from the small table. then tap to view the mosaic on the floor.

Add the 2 chunks you have to it and then you need to clean.

Use the cleaning equipment to remove all of the dirt.

This gives us the Princesses name, Aeliana and a year DCCCXXXII = 832

Note also the tree on the left.

Jacqueline places the bag and we can collect the seance items again to start.

I summon you by your name, Princess: Aeliana.

You died here at Via Della Fortuna, house number: 4.

In your year: 832.

After you talk to the ghost a hidden wall compartment will appear. And you will receive a key.

View the top of the revealed wall cabinet to find and collect a second metal leaf.

Then also view the statue of Bernardo on the right wall. Collect another metal leaf.

Now go back outside.

Use the key on the orange crate on the right to open it. Collect for inside a plaster bottle, a wrench, and lubricating oil.

View the plaque on the wall again. There is another metal leaf stunk behind it. Use the wrench to remove the sign and collect it.

Now view the water controls by the door again. Use the plaster on the center one to fix the leak. Then add the 4 metal leaves.

Now tap each of the dials to move the leaves to match a pattern. The 4th leaf is stuck, you will need to use the wrench to fix it.

Solution:

Go back inside to see water running on the left. There is a gold ball on the floor to collect.

Pour the plaster from the bottle into the hand print on the left. You will collect a 'left hand'.

Now view the statue of Barnardo again. Add the let hand to the broken arm and you will collect a second gold ball.

View the secret wall cabinet again to see the puzzle on top. Add the 2 gold balls to it.

You will need to use the lubricating oil on the puzzle disk to move it.

Solve the puzzle by moving the gold balls to the gold circles and the red ones to the red circles (swap them over)

Once done the cabinet opens to reveal the scrolls. You have a conversation with Lorenzo outside and then he is gone. Collect the solar panel that was behind the scooter.

Go back inside and tap the x-ray machine to move it to the scrolls. It has no power though.

A hole opens in the roof.

Star: in the hole in the roof.

Tap to move the cat that appears in the sun and then place the soler panel in that location. The machine has power. But it is locked with a 5 color combination.

For a clue look at the panels above the sink on the left. At the top there are 5 squares. 4 beige and blue one in the center.

You get the next clue from the scrolls and that completes the chapter.
