Psychic Squad - The Italian Affair - Chapter 1

Psychic Squad - The Italian Affair is an escape puzzle game from Haiku Games, playable through their Adventure Escape Mysteries app.

This is our full walkthrough of Chapter 1 of Psychic Squad - The Italian Affair. A murder mystery game featuring the psychic team of Jacqueline and Khaled. The game begins with a cut scene section to introduce the characters and start the story. You head to Valentine Movie Studio in Rome to find the Ghost of an Actress.

You reach the gate to sound stage 5.

Star: on the box, bottom left.

From the top left of the wall collect a Telephoto lens. Then on the ground below that, tap to move the light and collect a piece of cloth from behind it.

Now tap the warning sign on the center of the gate to move it and find a hole.

Tap the tripod to stand it up then collect the movie camera from the ground. Add the movie camera to the tripod and then add the lens.

Tap the camera to look though and you will see a poster of Valentina in 476. A.D.

On the right of the gate is a padlock. Use the cloth on this to clean it and you can then enter the combination. Solution:

The gate opens but the ground gives way.

Star: on the building top right by the number 5.

On the right is a rotten tree. tap this to push it over and make a bridge.

Then collect from the ground by the tree an oil can.

Use the oil can on the octagonal film case on the right to clear the rust. You can then open it and collect an old key.

Use the key on the door to the building to open it and you can now go inside.

Tap to view a script on the floor on the far left.

Collect the handle from it, and note the year, 1960.

Tap to move the stage light from the center of the stage then collect the rain filled barrel from the right.

Use this barrel on the dirty floor in the center to clean it.

Jacqueline’ places her purse. Collect from it chalk, candles and matches.

Tap the door on the left to exit the stage, then view the poster of Valentina again on the wall by the door.

Use the handle on the slot on the right to open the case and collect the poster.

Now go back inside and use the candles, chalk, matches and poster on the glowing spot in the center.

You now need to complete the 3 statements with the correct details.

I summon you by your name: Valentina.

You departed us in the year: 1960.

Here in Soundstage: 5.

You then start a second puzzle.

Hint: move the 4 circle around the borders to fit the 'energy' lines to the portrait.

Once done you talk with Valentina. There is an explosion and Khaled warns of someone coming.

Collect from the ground at the bottom a 'Boom Pole'. You can then use this item on the upper right pillar to collect the Roman Warhammer.

Exit the stage back to the gate and use the warhammer on the large urn / vase on the left. It breaks and you can collect a star.

Go back inside and check the pillars around the stage. you will find 5 with symbols on them. Make a note of these as they are a clue.

Now use the warhammer on the cracked ground to the bottom right.

This will reveal a chest, view this.

Use the star on the lock to open it. You then need a combination, 5 shapes.

Hint: use the 5 shapes seen on the pillars but you need the right order.

Solution:

Enter the combination to open the chest.

You discover Valentina's body and find out that her husband killed her on their wedding night.

You take a photo of the suspect. but then the building is attacked and you are trapped.

First close the chest, then collect the 2 piles of 'gears' that have fallen from the lights.

Use the warhammer on the small pile of columns on the far right to find a gate. The gate has another lock with a 4 digit combination.

Hint: check the photo for a clue.

Solution:

Tap the gate again and you will get a puzzle with gears.

Add all the gears you have collected and then arrange them so that they fit correctly and all turn when you move the handle.

The door opens and you can exit and escape.
