Legend of the sacred stones - Chapter 5

This is our full guide to chapter 5 of Legend of the Sacred Stones, another exciting mystery escape game from Haiku games.

Following chapter 4 we are returning home but run into Siegfried an old friend. Talk to him and then we head towards the Winter Temple.

Tap on the square platform on the ground to the right of the chest to view a pattern on it. This is a clue.

Collect from the ground next to this a Stone Plate.

Tap to the right to follow Siegfried to the next area. The bridge is out.

Tap to collect a moon disc from the ground.

On the rock wall to the left is a combination lock. View this to see the that each item has arrows around them

Down, right, left, up, down.

Go back to the first area and place the moon disc on the pattern on the square platform. We can move it around.

Hint: Use the direction of the arrows arrows from the combination lock. These tell you which of the 4 outer holes of the disc to use.

Collect the bear paw and second stone plate.

Go back to the first area and place the bear paw on the bear statue to reveal a new puzzle.

Follow the instruction to move the blocks into the right places, Red at the top green in the center line and blue at the bottom.

Collect a third stone plate

The winter temple is now active and you have access to the wind gem power from the locket.

Go back to the second area to find Siegfried stuck under an avalanche.

Tap the symbol near the center and use the water gem power to fill the river with water.

Then use the wind gem to freeze the water. Tap to cross over it to the front of the temple.

Collect a torch from the ground bottom center.

In front of the steps is a circle half covered in snow. Tap this to view it and collect another stone plate.

Tap the star symbol to use the locket. Use the earth power to make the vines grow. You can then get the penguin gem from the top.

Light the torch with the fire.

Return to Siegfried and use the torch to melt the ice. He gives you a key and asks you to get his bag from the chest. Go back to the first area.

Use the key to open the chest and collect a Seal Figurine and the backpack.

Next use the torch to melt the ice cube and get another stone plate.

Now place the penguin gem on the pillar on the left to reveal another star emblem. Clear the vines from the bottom left using the earth gem power.

Check the puzzle and read this poem:

“The golden power of earth,

Grows a ladder for you to climb.

But try again, it’ll go away,

And the symbol you will find.”

This is a clue, you just grew a ladder with vines in front of the temple so we need to go back there.

At the temple use the earth power again to remove the vines. Note the symbol that was hidden behind then but now you can see.

Back to the first area and you can draw that symbol into the puzzle by dragging your finger along the lines of gems. Collect a second seal figurine.

Go back to Siegfried and give him the backpack. He’ll give you a stone key.

Now tap the stone plinth to the left to see it is broken.

Place the 5 stone plates on to it to reveal a poem called QUEST FOR THE SACRED STONES. A clue.

Go to the temple and place the two seal statues on the block on the right. This reveals another puzzle with 4 dials.

Hint: Look at the QUEST FOR THE SACRED STONES poem. Each line mentions a temple and symbols for the four temples are shown in the corners.

A panel opens on the left, tap to view a pot of soil.

Use your locket on the star emblem:

Start with earth get to grow some vines.

Then use the water stone to fill the vines with water.

Next use the wind stone to freeze the water.

Finally, use the earth stone again to remove the vines.

Collect an ice key that matches the temples’ snake keys

Tap the circle area on the ground again and place both keys in the slots on the floor. A star symbol appears. You need to activate this with all 3 gem powers.

This opens up another set of pillar puzzles.

You need to draw a path that separates all the diamonds by color. it must end on the circle on the right and cannot touch / cross itself. There are 2 sections to this first puzzle.
