What's the best skill to get in the game?

Hmmm.... The single best skill in the game, would be the one I never want to be without and that is the Forcefield.

It's not the strongest of any of the skills, but it is the one that will keep any zombies from getting too close.

The forcefield is useful early game, but it becomes less powerful the further you progress. The EVO item also gives no buffs to attack or defense, meaning you’ll have to waste a slot to evolve this item. Personally, I would say the best overall skill is the Durian/Caltrops. This item deals amazing damage and is buffed by multiple stat increasing items. Following the durian on it’s path can get you out of a difficult situation immediately, and its EVO item is probably one of the most useful in the game, increasing the size and range of all of your other weapons.

Here's how I would rank 'em (midgame) -

Whistling Arrow (Tons of dmg) (Drillshot evo)

Spirit Shuriken (Kunai evo)

Lightning Emitter (massive dmg when evo'ed)

Durian

Fuel Barrel

Force Field

Sharkmaw Gun (missile evo)

Destroyer (Tybe A and Type B evo) (nonstop missiles that cicrle you 360 degrees)

Defender

Death Ray (laser matrix)

8-ton Dumbell (brick evo)

Eternal Light (Lightchaser evo)

Demon Blade (Katan evo)

Baseball Bat (evo is Lucille)

Boomerang

Gatling aka minigun (shotgun evo)

Quantum Ball (football evo)

Revolver

For single target dmg ill say rpg because of massive dmg (on my end 79k) and for aoe I'm tied between forcefield and defender. Hope this helps!.
