How do you unlock the red and yellow upgrades for equipment?

It's very tough to get to that level, basically you just need to keep merging items until that level is unlocked. I've been playing a couple of weeks and still not managed to get a yellow or red piece of equipment yet.
After purple, you still have to upgrade that purple item another two times (by merging) before you get the yellow level!

Starting from a purple piece, when you merge any other purple piece, you get it at a Purple+1, merge 2 more any other purple pieces and you get it at a purple+2, merge 2 of the exact same Purple+2 together to get the yellow (Epic) piece. I have no idea how to do red yet :) 12 0 REPORT

I just merged two lvl2 excellent pieces. Merging two epic of the same category gives you lvl 1 epic. I’m assuming it will go the same route for legendary. Guest Replied

Just keep merging; otherwise the chances of receiving one is extremely are. Excellent grade items are already very good.Add your answer
