Does the exo bracer and the energy cube work together or do they counteract each other?

Does the exo bracer and the energy cube work together or do they counteract each other? The exo bracer extends effects but the energy cube increases fire rate, if I use both do they cancel out?

They work very well together if you use the guardian.
If you have both at five stars with the guardian at evo level than BOOM the guardian basically never stops.
