Combat

What is the Combat section in Arknights? This section lets you play the story mode of the game, you get to play the main mechanics of Arknights and you’ll be able to go through different tutorials along the way as well as recruiting characters.

Sanity

What is Sanity and what is it used for? In Arknights, you can only play the Combat section of the game if you have enough of this resource. The amount of Sanity that you have is displayed in numbers there. If you press the + icon near the number, you’ll have the option to restore your sanity points.

You can increase your sanity points by using potions or originite prime, these items can be obtained through events or through rewards when playing the game. Some potions are timed items, so make sure to use them as soon as possible.

Main Combat

The main section provides you with different chapters of the game. As you complete a chapter, you’ll be able to unlock the next ones that are available so far. Completing episode 00 is important since you’ll be unlocking the rest of the features of the game here, as well as learning things through Tutorial episodes.

Once you open a episode, you’ll be provided with an operation which is equal to one game run. You can read the story that’s ongoing, or skip them directly to start combat.

If you press on a specific chapter, you’ll see a brief summary of it. Completing the episode once will unlock the Enemy Intelligence section which shows the data of enemies you’ve encountered. You can view the map layout there as well. If you want to start the game, you will press start and consume the amount of sanity that’s listed.

You can also view the story through the story button to replay what happened. The blue icons refer to your progression of that episode, you'll get a lower number than 3 if you lost any HP.

Supplies

Once you have completed Episode 00, you’ll be able to participate in Supplies expeditions for combat. These will be areas in the game that you can deploy your operators in order to get loot for your base.

Tactical Drill is a section that’s always open.The others follow a schedule so make sure to participate on the days that have them available. Similar to the main combat, you’ll play the game with your desired operators. After you get your first-time rewards, you should be able to auto deploy chapters you’ve completed.

You can check each operation to see the possible loot that’s available. Once you have completed the operation, you can then auto-deploy if you believe your squad is strong enough to handle it own their own. This is useful if you’re farming specific items and if you’re busy.
