How to transfer your game to a new device

If you have gotten yourself a new phone or want to move your game to a different device then you can follow the procedure below to back up and transfer your game data.

Transferring between iOS Devices

You can use the iCloud / iTunes services provided by Apple Inc. to back up (or migrate) game data.

On your old device, go to “Home screen” >> “Other” >> “Data Transfer” >> “Back Up Data” to back up the data on the device. Then, on your new device, go to "Home screen" >> "Transfer Data" >> "Restore Data” to transfer data from the old device.

Transferring between Android Devices

You can transfer game data to another Android device by syncing TEPPEN’s game data to the Google account synced to your current device.

On your old device, go to “Home screen” >> “Other” >> “Data Transfer” >> “Use Google Account” to set up the transfer. Then, on your new device, go to "Home screen" >> "Transfer Data" >> "Use Google Account” to transfer data from the old device.

Transferring Data Between Devices With Different OS

You can transfer game data between devices using different OS through the use of a transfer code. You can transfer the progress of your current game and continue playing on a different device. The following instrctions are give by

Creating a Transfer Code

A “Transfer Code” can be issued to facilitate the transfer of game data to another device.

Please agree to the following terms before having a Transfer Code issued.

Regarding the Use of Transfer Codes

- You will need this code to complete your transfer. Please keep it in a safe place.

- Sharing this code with a third party or posting it online may result in the loss of your data. Do NOT share it.

Other Notes

- Be sure to read the following "Game Data Transfer Procedure Using Transfer Code" and "Notes on Transferring Data".

- After a data transfer is completed, another Transfer Code cannot be issued to you for 24 hours.

Game Data Transfer Procedure Using Transfer Code

[Old Device] Create a Transfer Code

1. Launch TEPPEN on the device that contains the data you wish to transfer and select "Other" at the top of the home screen.

2. Select "Data Transfer".

3. Select "Create Transfer Code".

4. Please read "Creating a Transfer Code” above, and if you agree to the terms, select "Create Code".

5. Write down or take a screenshot of your ID and the issued Transfer Code, then proceed to .

[New Device] Transfer of Data

1. Install and launch TEPPEN on the device you wish to transfer your game data to.

At the title screen, select "Transfer Data".

2. Select "Data Transfer" and follow the on-screen instructions, enter your ID, and select "OK".

3. Follow the on-screen instructions, enter the Transfer Code issued in , and select “OK”.

4. When the data confirmation screen is displayed, confirm that the ID and player name are correct, and click "Yes".

5. The data transfer is complete. Select "OK" and restart the app to play the game using the transferred game data.

* Please do not reinstall the app.

* Please do not delete the app on the old device until you confirm that the data transfer was completed successfully on the new device.

Notes Regarding Data Transfer

- Please make sure to perform the data transfer in an area with a stable network connection.

- Please do not share your Transfer Code with anyone or post it online. The TEPPEN Services Team does not bear responsibility for problems arising from said actions above.

- If you encounter problems such as previously purchased Jewels not being reflected after the transfer, please contact us by going to “Home screen” >> “Other” >> “Support” >> “Problem with Jewel Purchase”.

- The data reflected by the transfer will be the game data from the last time you interacted with the game while connected to a network.

- On iOS, if after completing a data transfer, you restore a backup from the old device using iTunes or iCloud, the game data may revert to a state before the data transfer (initial game data). Please keep that in mind.

- When a new Transfer Code is issued, the previously issued Transfer Code becomes invalid.

- After completing a data transfer using a Transfer Code, the Transfer Code used becomes invalid.
