Ryu

The sample decks we found has reached Rank 1 and Champion ranks. All of them are running mono-red Shinku Hadoken decks with some recurring cards, primarily focused on dealing damage to enemy units in front and directly to the hero, while maintaining units in the field to attack and defend. We will discuss some of the featured or important cards in these decks.

Axl and Forest Speyer are both 3MP units that are prominent in all decks. Axl can deal 1 damage to an enemy unit in front of it, while having the standard 2 attack. Forest Speyer in the other hand, “detonates” upon death, dealing 1 damage to all units and heroes.

Leon S. Kennedy is a great 3MP, 2/4 unit that can enhance all damage dealing effects of cards played from your hand or EX field, and by units by 1 while he’s on the field. The number of copies of this you’ll need to include will somewhat depend on your damage-dealing action cards as well.

All decks feature Lagiacrus is a 4MP, 2/5 red unit that deals 3 damage split among all enemy units when played.

Another important piece is the 5MP 2/6 B.B Hood with built-in Rush ability. On top of that, she can deal 4 damage split among all enemy units when played.

Dragonlord’s Judgment is a 5MP legendary action card that can deal a massive 12 damage split among all enemy units - perfect for wiping out the enemy field after getting weakened by your own units.

Finally, we have two more high-MP legendaries present in the deck which can heavily alter the battle if a player was able to play them on the field: Fate-Defying Ryu and Dreadking Rathalos. Fate-Defying Ryu is a 6MP 3/6 unit with Rush, Agility, and Attacking ability that deals damage to the unit in front, based on the number of actions used in the match.

Dreadking Rathalos is an 8MP, 3/7 unit with Flight and Rush. On top of that, if manages to damage the enemy hero, it deals a solid 5 damage to a random enemy unit.
