Playing Non-Deck Unit Cards

There are certain unit cards and action cards that “summon” units to the field, even if they’re not included in your deck, as long as you the conditions are met. You also need to make sure there are empty slots on your field to be able to summon them. To see what Unit Cards the effect will summon, you can tap the card icons in the middle-top of the card’s screen.

In the example image above, the 6 MP purple card 5th Hell: Greed can summon a Castigator of Lust or Castigator of Pride on the field once it’s Resonance effect is triggered. (Resonance: Triggered when an Action Card is used)

Summoned units have their own attack power and HP, and can be affected by card effects targeting units such as heals, buffs, etc. Summoned units are not entirely powerful but they can be effective in buying you time by blocking attacks or counter-attacking.
