Deck Building Rules
TEPPEN Guide

Before you can customize or build your own decks, it will help understanding the various abilities and effects in the game. A good way to start is by unlocking all heroes and their respective basic decks. We have a dedicated page for different Card Abilities so check that out as well.

So before we get started we shall list down and discuss the various rules, limitations, and other tips when deck building.

* The maximum number of cards in a deck is 30.

* You can include up to three copies of Epic, Rare, and Common cards. Their Golden and Secret variations are considered the same and will count towards the limit.

* Only one copy of a legendary card can be included in the deck. You can include other legendaries provided that it’s a different card.

* Card colors (elements) will affect your maximum MP.

**A single-color deck has 10 MP, two colors have 5MP, 3 colors are limited to 3MP.

**Your hero’s color/element is counted as one of the elements of the deck. So for example, using Ryu as the hero of a green deck will be considered two colors.

**For dual-colored decks, you won’t be able to play any cards that costs 6MP above. At the same time, Triple-colored decks cannot play cards costing 4MP above.
