Added:

Heroes possess special moves called Hero Arts that can change the tide of battle considerably when used at the right time. Each hero can have up to three different Hero Arts; the first one is the default art that you’ll get upon unlocking the hero while the other two can be obtained by leveling them up.

What are Hero Arts?

Hero Arts can be activated using another resource called AP (Arts Points). You’ll get 1 AP for every 1 MP used to deploy Unit Cards or activate Action Cards. In the combat screen, your hero’s AP is found in the lower left while the opponent’s AP is located in the upper right. AP will have two values; the value on the left is the amount of AP the player has accumulated while the value on the right is the required AP to activate the hero’s Hero Art. The AP cost of Hero Arts will vary from each other.

You can choose to hold on to your HA and accumulate AP but take note that Hero Arts have a cool down. So even if you have enough accumulated AP to trigger two Hero Arts, you can’t use them consecutively in a short amount of time.

You’ll also get extra AP when using cards with the Active Charge effect, like the one below. Consider including them in your deck whenever you can, as long as they have the same color and will help your deck’s overall synergy.

What are Hero Arts?

Hero arts can’t be stopped or countered by enemy units or action cards. However, they won’t activate if there’s no valid target on the board. Once you have enough AP, the Hero Art will become available and the icon will appear beside the AP counter. Simply tap to view its description and drag it to a valid target to trigger its effect.

What are Hero Arts?

Choosing the correct target for your Hero Art is necessary to gain the advantage and change the flow of battle. For example, for high damaging HA like Ryu’s default Shinku Hadoken (Deal 7 damage to an enemy unit) you should prioritize taking out enemy units with the highest attack or 7 HP below to remove them from the field. At the same time, you should also avoid targeting shielded units (or other damage-negating effects) to avoid wasting your Hero Art.

How to change your Hero's Hero Art

Once you have unlocked a Hero Art, you can freely change it to suit your deck’s synergy or strategy. To change a hero’s hero art, do the following:

1. Tap the Cards icon in the bottom of the main screen

2. Tap Edit Deck
