Why when I watch videos, they have heroes I have never seen before and in my state we can't unlock them, why?

The heroes on each state will depend on how new it is. This is because of events that are released over time. If a new state is created, they follow the events from scratch meaning heroes will be released following that schedule. For example, a new state won’t have Trish and Ash yet but they can appear after a month or two depending on the event update schedule.
