Do you lose your shield even if you don't attack or Scout?

Peace Shields have a duration time on them. 8h, 12h, 24h or 3 days. They will run out after the set amount of time. Other than that they only cancel if you scout or attack a player. Once they cancel they are gone and you will need to start a new one.
