How do you help with food consumption on troops mine is very low.?

The more troops you have (not vehicles) the higher the food consumption. You can uncrease the food income by upgrading farms, stationing and upgrading heroes in the farms and gathering food from the world. There are heroes who you can station in the troop training camp with skills to reduce food consumption. You can also become a Trader class where food consumption is lower.

But for food it is easier to just do tasks and complete daily challenges to get the rss rewards which should cover your needs. Your wont run out, it will only reduce to a minimum level.
