I just joined but my game is nothing but a desert I can't see anything but cracked dirt and what looks..

I just joined but my game is nothing but a desert I can't see anything but cracked dirt and what looks like an RV when I try to build it won't show me whats happening but says I haven't placed it I've tried deleting and reinstalling the game can someone help me?

This sounds broken. When you start a new game it should place a base building for you and go through some tutorial processes to build roads and other buildings. If you are not getting to this then either the game hasn't installed correctly or perhaps there is some reason why it won't fully run on your device.
