Is there a way to make sure that my former alliance commander won't be able to know my current alliance and my new name?

I would think by changing your name. If it tracks that you joined a new alliance, join one temporarily before going where you want. Haven't tried but that's what I would do.

If you have exchanged mails with anyone from your alliance, then they can still track you regardless if you have already changed your name
