If I quit my alliance, and decide I want to come back... can I rejoin if there is still space and ..

If I quit my alliance, and decide I want to come back... can I rejoin if there is still space and I meet requirements? (or is there some sort of time limit -- or are you not allowed to rejoin an alliance you quit)

You're allowed to rejoin if they have requirements then you'll have to meet those requirements, if it's open lobby and there is a space open go ahead and re-join
