How do you level your hero to level 4?

Heroes level up with Exp. Exp is earned from battling, eg attacking zombies and also as Hero Exp items from reward boxes etc. To use the Exp items go to your Hero menu and select a hero. Tap 'Level' icon in the top left and then select the exp items to apply to that hero.
