If you attack an enemy resource plot (and win) do you plunder any or all of the resources they had already gathered? I am aware that you bump them off the plot and start gathering yourself but I would like to know if you get rewarded for doing so.

Attacking the plot means a battle which if you win, kicks the enemy off and they return home empty handed, with wounded. You do not get the resources though. You will only get what you gather after you win the battle.
Not worth doing for the extra resources but you will get credit for defeating troops if you need that as part of a kill event or quest.
