What is the purpose of the Alliance center?

When you can build alliance center then after it is complete you will see a blue square around it. Put your base and alliance in it because it gives bonus of faster collection of resources and if a enemy teleports in blue area and you attack him and win his base burns longer. Down side is everyone will see it on state map. I put 2 up. One is strictly filled with resource plots and other is for my bases
