What is and how do I build a ‘resource station’?

On the map view, open the Build menu, and you'll have the option to choose and build a resource station - this is a food, oil, wood, iron or diamond spot that you send your APCs to gather from. The level of the station depends on the level of your base and your team's alliance technology level.
