Guardian is one of the special named alliance roles that can be assigned to members by the alliance leader. They don't currently have any special extra powers or rewards but are just a special rank equivalent to an R4

If you're asking if R4 has perks, then yes. Off the top of my head, R4 can research alliance tech when all the resources have been donated, buy items from the list to be sold in the alliance store, and start zombie siege events.
