Hello, I am trying to build on my base and add items but it won’t let me and says “Upper limit reached”. What do I need to do in order to increase my upper limit?

Not certain here, but some buildings will have a limit to how many can be built (most are 1 and some production buildings let you unlock more). Additional buildings are unlocked as you upgrade the base building. You may also have some cosmetic items from rewards or events. There will be a limit to these too.
