These awards are hard to get. You earn credit towards it by training troops, which takes time. It will all depend on the level of troops you can currently train.
Unless you are at a very high level and can train high level troops then the only way to get enough troops trained in the time available is to use speedups. This will take a lot of speedups though and is probably not worth trying until you are able to get at least half way towards it without using them.

Training troops is not the way you get phase rewards. Trainkng troops can help you get arms race boxes but phase rewards are obtained when the hourly timer has expired and you have forgotten to take tge rewards. That is when the rewards are sent via mail automatically instead. 5 1 REPORT
