My app stopped working after the latest update. What must I do?

You are not the only one to have this happen. Aug 1st just after reset. The game auto updated and I can't log on. A member of my alliance said this has happened before and a player could not log in for ten days. Tried everything I could think of. I even reinstalled the app. Possibly we are stuck until the next update. I can say goodbye to 2 million troops.
