Does class level affect your number of troops?

Does class level affect your number of troops? My alliance friend has more troops than I do despite having awakened my 3 orange heroes, all troop cap at max and all my heroes are higher levels than his. Basically, my apc is stronger. The only exception is he is a level 60 Siege Master and I'm a level 51 Siege Master.

Class level has no affect on the number of troops in your APC. number of troops is only affected by the following;
1. Hero level (+100 for each level)
2. Skill 1- High leader
3. Activate awakening skill (skill 6)
4. Your class or APC building level
