Does your state's ranking in coz division depends on the specific week that you lost? We are trying to avoid gold league and wants to know if we should purposely lose week 1 or week 3. Hope someone can advise me here. Thank you in advance.

Losing the first week should immediately put you to the bottom half of the ranking table and should ensure you cannot be promoted. Losing other weeks may also ensure you are not promoted but it will depend on the number of states that are eligible for promotion in your current bracket.
