How do you remove Pumpkin Soup Pot, decorations?

Unfortunately once placed these are like buildings and cannot be removed. The only thing you can do is tap and hold to move them to some distant part of your city out of the way.

Selecting the decoration gives you the option to ‘Minimise’ it. Rather than shrink it, the decoration is removed and stored somewhere. The hard part is working out how to get it back.
