How long do I have to keep tiles I’ve reclaimed from the enemy at our AC1?

There is a 5 minute cool down and then you can abandon them. You don't need to keep any tiles that you don't want. Although you can choose to keep tiles around the AC if it helps to defend it from the next attack.
