What's the best way to get heroes?

The only ways to get heroes are through recruitment tickets, hero fragments or the Project H.e.r.o paid benefit. Paying will guarantee you heroes, although if you have been playing for a while you will probably already have them.

Fragments take along time to earn through completing daily challenges for individual fragments or earning the hero tokens to buy more.

The recruitment tickets are random but you will be able to get many more of these. Participate in the clash of zones events to earn tickets, and try to reach the goals in the daily tasks each day to get more free tickets. If you are able to do the doomsday event and qualify for the rewards you can receive special tickets that guarantee orange heroes.
