Why does my troop count fluctuate when I wasn’t attacked and I haven’t attacked?

Why does my troop count fluctuate when I wasn’t attacked and I haven’t attacked?? I had 800k 10 min later it went down to 730k?

Did you promote anyone? Or maybe its doomsday and you have to heal them?
