If I change my class from trader to raider I lose all my points in class hall, but if I change back..

If I change my class from trader to raider I lose all my points in class hall, but if I change back to trader will I have the points that I had before change to raider or are they lost for ever?

You would get them back if you returned to the previous class, but you can also reset those points to unlock them again, to distribute on your new class.
