I purchased the hero project which at the end gives you a guaranteed orange hero but the militant and dawn guardian aren't there as I have all the rest so I would just be getting a trade in token ??
The hero project that I see at the moment has the following choices for the final ticket hero:
The Reaper, War Hound, Dawn Guardian, The Forsaken, Shoota Man, Destroya, The Arsenal
Not sure if its the same for everyone.
If you choose a hero you already have then yes you will get a hero medal for that hero. The medal can be very useful as you will need it to unlock the 6th skill (Awaken) on that hero or also use it towards unlocking other skills on any orange hero.
