Possible to upgrade your city wall than this lame fence walls?

The fence that you see in your city is all there is. It is just the graphics though, it has no effect on your actual defence or strength. They have made various changes and improvements to the look of the fence and other areas of the city over time as well as adding options to change the look of the base building so possibly they will change this as well in future.
