How I change my name and avatar?

How I change my name and avatar? It doesn't show up anywhere, and during the intro it said I could change it anytime?

Your name and avatar can be changed in the settings menu. Tap the three dots icon at the top of the expanded main menu (lower right) and then tap on Commander Info.

Tap the pencil icon next to your name to edit it and small icon below your image to change that. You may need a name change item or other item first to mane the changes.
