The kill event refers to the weekend sections of the Clash of Zones competitive event. Your state will compete against another state each week and on Saturdays (and also Sunday if you choose) you can visit the other state and attack players there to score points by defeating troops.
Players from the other state can come to your state to attack as well. If you aren't fighting its best to shield.
