I sent most of my soldiers to the battlefield to fight evil toys. How do I get back to that screen and how do I recall them to come back to HQ?

After they fight the target, they will come back. if they got wounded you have to heal them in your hospitals. If you did not have enough capacity to heal them all, they will die. Then train more Troops.
