Is the general chest better than the exclusive chest?

General and Exclusive chests are mutually exclusive (they are not the same). You will need both to promote your officers. Promoting an officer is when you increase their STAR rank.

There are 5 types of officers:

1) Deployment officers (Their cases look red with a bullet)

2) Military officers (Their cases are yellow with 3 horizontal lines)

3) Defense officers (Blue cases with a shield)

4) Logistic officers (Teal cases with a leaf)

5) Technology officers (Purple cases with a magnifying glass)

To upgrade each office, you need BOTH the "General" cases along with their respective color case. For example, if I want to promote my DEPLOYMENT officer, I will need to accumulate BOTH general cases and red deployment cases! Hope this helps! The exact numbers are shown in the promotion page.

P.S. Make sure to only promote officers on officer day (where promotion utilization rates are 100% so you can save chests).
